What is the Easy-Lift Drawing Board?
The Easy-Lift Drawing Board is a drafting and drawing board that has linear actuators that allow for electronic lifting to any angle of 0-45°. It uses a strong aluminum construction with pivoting arms to lift up to 100 lbs. It features many fabrication and prototype techniques such as CNC machining, aluminum welding, 3D printing, and basic electronics.
How it Works:
The drawing board uses a CNC machined aluminum arm which is connected to a linear actuator that slides along linear rails. The movement of the actuator is controlled by the switch on the right hand side which allows for unlimited control of the angle. The linear actuator pulls the pivot arm in which causes the arm to angle upwards therefore lifting the top section.
